What are your key tasks?
At the head office of EP NL in Middelburg the position of financial analyst has arisen. He/she reports to the CFO. The role will combine work of financial analysis and project management. The person will be responsible for preparing financial models, valuations, and project management within EP Netherlands.
More specifically tasks will include:
- Preparation and maintenance of financial model of the company on a going basis;
- Preparation of financial models for investment opportunities;
- Supporting M&A and business development from financial perspective, performing market analyses and supporting due diligence processes;
- Developing a strong understanding of the business of operating companies, energy derivatives trading and developing relationships with key stakeholders;
- Developing a strong understanding of energy derivatives trading;
- Reviewing and challenging inputs from operating companies;
- Project management of various internal projects.

What do we expect from you?
- Master’s degree from University in Economics, Finance or Investments;
- Interested in Energy Market and Finance;
- Analytical thinking, accurate and strong problem solving and organizational skills;
- 1 – 5 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Energy or Investment Management;
- Ability to work independently and under pressure within strict time constraints;
- Team player and result driven;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a high sense of ownership;
- Ambitious to grow further in the organization and with leadership potential.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is of advantage;
- CFA or similar qualification is of advantage;
- Willing to travel to Middelburg or living around and working 40 hours.
