Electricity label

The energy market is a complex world of supply, demand, and regulation. As a business consumer, you have the right to clarity about the origin of the electricity you consume. In the Netherlands, there is a transparency requirement that requires every electricity supplier to indicate where the energy comes from for each megawatt hour (MWh) they supply. To prove this, a Certificate of Origin (CvO) or Guarantee of Origin (GvO) is used.

 

PZEM offers customers insightful and transparent information about the origin of the electricity we supply through the electricity label. This shows which sources the energy comes from and how sustainable these sources are.

Where the supply of electricity is concerned, PZEM opts for nuclear generation. Electricity generated from nuclear energy does not release CO2 and other greenhouse gases.

In the Netherlands we have to deal with radioactive waste (from power plants, industry and hospitals) which we have to store for a long period of time. Fortunately, nuclear waste in the Netherlands is quite manageable, this is done by Covra. In addition, the amount of nuclear waste produced by a nuclear power plant is about 1 cubic meter per year. Covra ensures a permanently safe situation and provide a solid infrastructure.
